Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking a warm, attentive, and service-driven Waiter to join the team at Netsu Bar, a vibrant dining destination within the hotel. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in high-volume, luxury environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing seamless food and beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and upholding the legendary standards of Mandarin Oriental.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and communicate the outlet’s concept and menu offerings to guests
• Complete mise en place and maintain cleanliness and readiness of service areas
• Operate the POS system to process orders and payments accurately
• Deliver attentive, courteous, and efficient service tailored to guest needs
• Upsell products and services to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards for food presentation and service
• Handle billing, gift cards, and non-cash payments per hotel policies
• Maintain and care for outlet equipment and utensils
• Coordinate with kitchen and management regarding guest preferences and allergies
• Support other outlets as needed and perform additional tasks assigned by management
• Foster a positive team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
• Create memorable “WOW” moments for guests through thoughtful gestures and service excellence

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-volume or luxury restaurant
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related degree preferred
• Strong understanding of fine dining and casual dining service standards
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashiering procedures
• Excellent communication skills and a natural, guest-focused demeanor
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy shifts
• Basic computer skills (MS Office) preferred
