Outlier supports innovative companies by improving AI models through human voice feedback. This role focuses on recording voice samples in Telugu to help train AI for better speech understanding. Ideal for native Telugu speakers with voice acting or audio recording experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Record short scripted conversations expressing a wide range of emotions, accents, and audio modulations.

• Review and provide feedback on recordings by other contributors.

• Review and edit voice scripts to ensure clarity and quality.

• Maintain high-quality audio recordings in a quiet, professional environment.

• Organize and save audio files using Audacity or similar software.

Requirements

• Native fluency in Telugu.

• Ability to express diverse emotions clearly via voice.

• Quiet recording environment with no background noise.

• Access to a home recording studio or equivalent setup.

• Experience in voice-related work such as voiceover acting, podcasting, or narration.

• Access to a high-fidelity microphone for professional recordings.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Background in on-screen or on-stage acting, classical voice training, or vocal music.

• Access to an audio interface device for enhanced recording quality.

Payment

• Up to $40 USD per hour for voice recording tasks.

• This is a freelance 1099 contract opportunity on the Outlier.ai platform.
