Job Description:
VaporVM is looking for a skilled VMware Administrator to join their infrastructure team in Dubai. This role focuses on supporting a hybrid IT infrastructure that includes Microsoft Windows Servers, Azure Cloud, virtualization platforms, and enterprise storage systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure engineering and be adept at provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting hybrid environments to ensure optimal system performance and availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and manage Microsoft Windows Servers and Hyper-V clusters.

• Operate and maintain Azure Stack Hub for hybrid cloud functionalities.

• Provision, manage, and decommission Azure services such as:

  • Entra ID

  • Azure Subscriptions

  • Virtual Networks

  • Storage Accounts

  • Virtual Machines (VMs)

  • Azure ARC and Intune

• Oversee and support enterprise storage systems, including:

  • IBM Storage Cluster

  • Pure Storage Cluster

  • VxRail

• Monitor and maintain infrastructure health using PRTG:

  • Perform cluster updates

  • Manage sensors and probes

  • Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring issues

Required Qualifications:

• 5–7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud administration, or systems administration.

• Strong technical knowledge in:

  • Microsoft Windows Server

  • Virtualization (Hyper-V and clusters)

  • Azure Cloud (Stack Hub, ARC, Intune, networking, etc.)

  • Enterprise storage solutions (IBM, Pure, VxRail)

  • Monitoring tools like PRTG

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Preferred certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

  • Relevant certifications in infrastructure, storage, or monitoring tools
