Visual Merchandiser Trainee

The Visual Merchandiser Trainee will join the regional Visual Merchandising division within the Marketing department based in Dubai, reporting to the Visual Merchandising Executive. This role involves supporting the implementation of retail marketing strategies across the Middle East and collaborating closely with regional partners and internal teams to enhance Dior’s brand image at all points of sale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counter Visual Merchandising: Manage and distribute VM guidelines, procurement and organization of key visual assets including movies and content.

  • Maintain and update the VM database tracking all points of sale in the region.

  • Assist in coordinating retail and trade guidelines per the annual marketing calendar.

  • Support VM efforts for point-of-sale openings including VM books management and local production coordination.

  • Collaborate on regional VM execution ensuring premium retail experiences.

  • Create and implement planograms using IWD software aligning with retail goals.

  • Develop and distribute internal VM newsletters highlighting key assets and upcoming launches.

  • Collate reports on VM installations, window displays, store openings, and seasonal setups across markets.

  • Monitor brand and competitor VM and trade activities, producing bi-monthly competitor reports.

  • Support coordination of VM training events to equip local teams with updated strategies and tools.

Candidate Profile:

  • University or business school degree required.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferable.

  • Strong eye for detail and proactive approach in fast-paced environments.

  • Creative thinker with solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills to ensure timely execution.

  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with team and stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
