Job Title: Virtual Relationship Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Virtual Relationship Manager (VRM) – Team Leader to oversee and guide a dynamic team of VRMs within the Business Banking division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading virtual banking initiatives, driving portfolio growth, enhancing digital client engagement, and achieving financial targets through strategic execution and team performance management.
As a VRM Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping customer relationships, optimizing business banking solutions, and delivering a seamless digital experience to SME clients. This is a leadership opportunity for someone passionate about fintech innovation, sales excellence, and relationship building in the SME sector.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Financial Performance:

Drive FX, Trade Finance, CASA, and deposit growth to meet monthly and quarterly financial KPIs.

Lead cross-selling and upselling of business banking products such as business loans, merchant services, and trade solutions.

Monitor individual and team targets, ensuring alignment with business banking goals.

Collaborate with internal teams on the development and execution of sales campaigns.
🔹 Team Leadership:

Manage, train, and motivate a team of Virtual Relationship Managers.

Set and track performance targets to ensure team productivity and service quality.
-
Conduct regular coaching sessions, reviews, and performance evaluations.
🔹 Client Engagement:
-
Ensure VRMs deliver a superior digital banking experience to SME clients.

Handle escalations and support issue resolution in a timely and effective manner.

Implement strategies to enhance digital interaction, retention, and portfolio value.
🔹 Portfolio & Risk Management:

Grow the VRM-managed portfolio across FX income, customer deposits, and asset generation.

Analyze portfolio performance, profitability, and risk exposure to ensure sustained growth.

Ensure compliance with all internal risk frameworks, KYC, EDD, and regulatory protocols.
🔹 Market Insights & Reporting:

Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in SME banking innovation.

Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management on sales activities, customer trends, and strategic opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics (MBA preferred).

Minimum 3 years in a Team Manager role within SME or Business Banking.

Proven track record in portfolio growth, digital relationship management, and sales.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Knowledge of banking regulations and risk frameworks.
-
Proficient in English; Arabic is a plus.
