The National News is seeking an experienced Video Producer/Editor to join their multimedia newsroom in Abu Dhabi. The role involves producing creative, visually engaging videos, including feature stories and long-form documentaries, while collaborating closely with other departments to deliver high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate creative story ideas and develop strong visual narratives.

• Film using DSLR cameras and other professional equipment.

• Edit dynamic and engaging videos with excellent pacing, structure, and storytelling.

• Write clear, compelling scripts in flawless English.

• Manage complex shoots and on-the-ground situations professionally.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless video production.

• Maintain high-quality output while working in fast-paced newsroom environments.

• Use creative editing and cinematic shooting techniques, including gimbal operation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in video production and editing.

• Proven ability to produce compelling visual stories for features and documentaries.

• Strong understanding of Middle East politics and society.

• Exceptional editing skills and storytelling abilities.

• Ability to handle diverse environments and contributors with tact and professionalism.

• Strong coordination skills and ability to work in fast-paced newsroom settings.

• Arabic language skills are considered an asset.
