Core42 is seeking a Vice President – Platform Operations to lead the next generation of cloud infrastructure and service delivery. This role involves spearheading the transformation of the operational model, leveraging AI, automation, and modern practices to ensure exceptional reliability, scalability, and performance of Core42’s Private Cloud platform. The ideal candidate will balance technical expertise with strategic leadership to pioneer new operational paradigms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement forward-thinking operational strategies, incorporating AI-driven predictive analytics, self-healing systems, and continuous optimization.

• Lead the evolution of traditional IT operations into a modern Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and platform-as-product approach.

• Develop strategies to reduce toil through intelligent automation and enhance service quality.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational capabilities with business objectives and technology roadmaps.

• Champion the adoption of GitOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and declarative configuration management.

• Implement observability solutions and design zero-trust security architecture integrated throughout operational practices.

• Build and mentor high-performing teams that embrace DevOps culture and continuous learning.

• Architect service delivery models that balance standardization with customer-specific requirements.

• Establish modern governance frameworks to ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in cloud operations, infrastructure management, or related fields.

• Expertise in transforming traditional IT operations into cloud-native practices, with experience in private cloud architectures, container orchestration, and modern data platforms.

• Proven success in designing and implementing AI-driven operational strategies, AIOps, and MLOps.

• Strong background in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, IT service management, or site reliability engineering.
