Job Summary

Mastercard is looking for a Vice President, Channel Partnerships and Sales Lead for the EEMEA region. This is a revenue-generating role that focuses on developing and managing relationships with partners across the region. You will be responsible for the entire partner lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, revenue activation, and growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth: Achieve assigned revenue targets through channel partners.

  • Partner Recruitment & Development: Identify, qualify, and recruit new partners who align with the regional strategy. Form business relationships and motivate partners to engage and activate the Mastercard offering.

  • Onboarding & Activation: Drive the onboarding process for new partners, ensuring they are equipped to sell, market, deploy, and support Mastercard’s offerings.

  • Collaboration: Engage internal stakeholders (sales, product, marketing) to support partnership objectives and sales opportunities.

  • Pipeline Management: Manage the partner pipeline and forecast progress through the sales cycle.

  • Partner Alignment & Strategy: Conduct monthly partner alignment sessions to review pipelines, perform win/loss analysis, and develop strategies to penetrate new markets and sales opportunities.

  • Joint Business Planning: Collaborate with high-performing partners to develop annual joint business plans to meet revenue goals, and review progress during quarterly business reviews.

  • Feedback Loop: Provide feedback on partner tools, programs, and market insights to internal functions.

  • Field Marketing Activities: Assist in field marketing activities such as trade shows, sales presentations, and program support.


Background & Experience

  • Experience: At least 7-10 years of channel partnership sales or relevant experience with a proven record in recruiting and developing new partners.

  • CXO-Level Engagement: Experience in sourcing, qualifying, and forming relationships with channel partners at the CXO level.

  • Industry Network: Strong personal network within the industry.

  • Commercial Skills: Demonstrated ability to deliver sales and revenue at scale.

  • Joint Business Planning: Proven experience in developing and managing joint business plans with partners.

  • International Market Expertise: Experience working in a complex, multinational organization, with international market experience.


Success Metrics

  • Time to revenue

  • New partner pipeline coverage to quota

  • Number of new partners and partner revenue

  • Activities supporting quotas (calls, meetings, new partners signed)

  • Partner attrition rate and satisfaction

  • Cost of recruiting and activating new partners
