dubizzle, a leading classified platform and part of the Bayut & dubizzle Group, is looking to hire a Vehicle Inspector for their Cars team in Dubai. This is a full-time, on-site role where the selected candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed vehicle inspections across mechanical, electrical, and aesthetic aspects to determine the condition and eligibility of vehicles for sale within the dubizzle ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed inspections of vehicles including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, AC, tyres, electricals, and ECU/sensors

• Evaluate paint condition and check for wear-and-tear or accident damage

• Identify missing, faulty, or illegal components

• Conduct emission and VIN inspections, review auction histories and total loss claims

• Take professional photographs of vehicles and highlight any defects or issues

• Prepare and review detailed inspection reports using digital tools

• Collaborate with the team leader on complex or critical findings

• Suggest improvements or repairs for vehicles that fail inspection

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Mechanical Engineering Diploma

• Minimum 5 years of experience in vehicle inspection

• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills

• Expert knowledge of old and new car models and segments

• Proficiency in using automotive inspection equipment and tools

• Valid UAE Driving License

• Automotive certification is a plus

• Good photography and basic computer skills

• Ability to work independently, observe keenly, and make accurate assessments

• Positive attitude, excellent teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
