Horizontal Digital, a leading digital consultancy, is seeking a Senior UX Designer (Contract) to join their hybrid team in Dubai. The company is committed to delivering exceptional digital experiences for Fortune 500 clients by blending strategy, design, data, and technology. The UX Designer will play a key role in researching, designing, and defining user experience solutions that are intuitive, empathetic, and user-centered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply user-centered design principles to advocate for superior UX across the organization.

• Build trust and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.

• Plan and facilitate research activities and UX workshops with stakeholders.

• Create design artifacts including personas, storyboards, site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and service blueprints.

• Translate customer insights into tangible design solutions within defined timelines.

• Develop and maintain user interaction design guidelines as part of client UX systems.

• Continuously explore tools and processes to enhance design efficiency and quality.

• Collaborate with strategists, UI designers, developers, writers, and project managers to deliver innovative user experiences.

• Present UX concepts and design decisions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a UX professional, demonstrating expertise in information architecture and interactive experience design for web and mobile applications.

• Strong portfolio showcasing user research, audience definition, experience mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and functional specification writing.

• Proficient in Figma; experience with Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision, Marvel, Axure, Adobe XD, HTML/JS/CSS is a plus.

• Experienced in leading UX workshops and managing projects from start to finish.

• Understanding of accessibility design principles and best practices for responsive design.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Bold, passionate, curious, and courageous approach to design challenges.

Extra Credit / Preferred Experience:

• Designing for content management systems such as Sitecore or Acquia.

• Experience with Agile processes, mobile app design, and requirements gathering.
