Thales is seeking a UTM Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) projects in Dubai. The role involves managing project timelines, quality, and budgets, while ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering cost-effective solutions. The Project Manager will work closely with internal teams and customers to maintain strong relationships and meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead UTM projects during BID phases and manage delivery to ensure deadlines, quality, and profitability are met

Manage customer relationships and work with stakeholders across management, sales, marketing, and engineering

Ensure the solution is cost-effective, easy to deploy, and provides value to the customer

Oversee the project execution baseline and maintain it throughout the project lifecycle

Organize project milestones, reviews, and kick-off meetings, and ensure transparent communication with all parties involved

Manage financial aspects of the project, including costs and revenue
-
Address risks, change requests, and business opportunities for additional orders

Lead change management and maintain a log of project events to support future claims

Contribute to knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and the overall success of future projects

Support the sales team in promoting Thales UTM solutions
Key Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in project management, particularly in the software development or service operation industry

Certification in IPMA, PMI/PMP, or PRINCE2 Practitioner

An engineering or master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering

Knowledge of aviation regulations or experience in UTM system development

Fluency in English is required

Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
