User Growth Manager, EMEA (Gaming)

Tencent is seeking a strategic and driven User Growth Manager to lead user acquisition and engagement efforts for gaming products across the EMEA region. Operating from Dubai, this full-time, on-site role sits within Tencent’s Technology Engineering Group (TEG)—a critical arm of the business responsible for R&D infrastructure, data center operations, and user support services.

As a User Growth Manager, you will play a key role in driving Tencent’s international gaming expansion, developing market strategies, fostering local partnerships, and executing data-informed user acquisition campaigns. You will coordinate with global and regional teams to localize operations and enhance the visibility of Midasbuy, Tencent’s digital content platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Strategy Development: Formulate and lead user growth and localization strategies based on market trends, user behavior, and product goals.

  • Cross-Functional Team Collaboration: Align regional teams and HQ stakeholders on implementation priorities and ensure smooth, effective campaign execution.

  • Local Partnerships & Operations: Build partnerships with local game developers, KOLs, media platforms, and payment service providers. Explore both organic and paid acquisition channels.

  • User Experience & Localization: Customize product experiences for local users, implement region-specific marketing campaigns, and optimize user engagement strategies.

  • Operational Support: Manage campaign execution, payment solutions, and customer service coordination with local teams and vendors.

  • Market Insights & Reporting: Deliver timely market research, competitor analysis, and performance reports to inform internal business decisions.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or a related field

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in user growth, digital marketing, or gaming operations; previous work in overseas markets is a plus

  • Market Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the EMEA gaming and digital content landscape; experience working with Turkish or Arabic markets is highly desirable

  • Analytical Tools: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar data analysis platforms

  • Languages: Fluency in Turkish or Arabic required; English proficiency is essential; Mandarin Chinese is a plus

  • Soft Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills; capable of managing high-pressure tasks in a global, fast-paced environment
