The School of Research Science (SRS), a highly respected international school in Dubai and a BSO-accredited institution, is seeking an experienced and passionate US High School Art and Design Teacher to join their American Curriculum department starting August 2025.

SRS delivers a high-quality education based on both the British and American curricula, serving over 4,000 students from FS to Year 13. The American curriculum follows standards such as Common Core and NGSS. This position is an excellent opportunity for educators who want to contribute to a large, innovative department in a modern and thriving educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and student-centered lessons in Art and Design to high school students under the American curriculum framework.

• Design and implement creative curriculum plans that align with US-based standards (CCSS, NGSS, or Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks).

• Foster students’ creativity, technical skills, and appreciation for visual arts.

• Support student development through project-based learning and hands-on studio practices in Graphic Design, Ceramics, Textiles, or Printmaking.

• Collaborate with other educators to enhance interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives.

• Participate in school activities, professional development, and parent-teacher communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Art & Design or a related field.

• Valid teaching license/certification (with an appropriate specialization).

• Minimum 2 years of full-time teaching experience in an American curriculum school.

• Strong knowledge of US educational standards and creative arts integration.

• Specialization in Graphic Design, Ceramics, Textiles, or Printmaking is highly desirable.
