Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) is a leading financial institution in the UAE, recognized for its modern banking solutions and digital innovations. The bank seeks a Unit Manager, Fraud Prevention, to lead multi-year fraud prevention strategies, mitigate risks, and enhance security across digital platforms, branches, call centers, and financial products. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and advanced fraud prevention technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute a fraud prevention strategy aligned with CBD’s risk management framework.
• Continuously assess fraud detection tools and recommend technological improvements.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for fraud prevention, including platform upgrades and vendor management.
• Monitor fraud trends, tactics, and regulatory changes to identify emerging threats.
• Provide quarterly reports on fraud impact analysis and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legal and financial crime regulations.
• Lead AI and machine-learning-powered fraud detection system implementation.
• Maintain high security standards while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Engage with regulators, law enforcement, and industry bodies for fraud-related matters.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 15 years of experience in fraud prevention/detection within banking/financial services.
• 7-10 years in a senior leadership role overseeing fraud prevention.
• Deep expertise in fraud trends, typologies, and attack methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of fraud detection and prevention technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or Criminal Justice (Master’s degree preferred).
• Relevant professional certifications (CFE, CISA, CISM) are an advantage.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
• Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and SLA monitoring.
