Horizontal Digital is hiring a UI Designer to join their team on a contract basis. As a UI Designer, you will work on creating exceptional, aesthetically pleasing, and functional digital experiences. You will collaborate with internal teams to craft responsive websites, apps, and digital experiences for clients. This role is perfect for a designer passionate about creating visually striking interfaces and responsive designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute beautiful, responsive websites, apps, and digital experiences.

• Deliver compelling conceptual design directions and explorations.

• Collaborate with UX designers, writers, project managers, strategists, developers, and leadership to deliver impactful designs.

• Build trusted relationships with clients through understanding their needs and providing thoughtful design recommendations.

• Pivot design directions based on evolving requirements and feedback.

• Participate in client meetings to contribute to the creative and design process.

• Present designs to clients and implement feedback to enhance the design.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design examples for digital platforms and experiences.

• 3+ years of experience in UI design, skilled in responsive interface design.

• Proven experience in owning projects from start to finish.

• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), and PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of UI and interaction design best practices for responsive experiences.

• Experience with design systems and building new ones from scratch.

• A good understanding of UX best practices and accessibility design issues.
