Daman, the UAE’s leading health insurance provider, is hiring a UAE National with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine for a full-time on-site role in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for clinical review, case coordination, and medical service authorization to ensure optimal healthcare delivery in line with evidence-based guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage utilization review by assessing clinical documentation for medical service approvals

• Coordinate and communicate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care

• Collaborate with primary care physicians to develop and manage personalized care plans

• Conduct concurrent medical record reviews using standard indicators and revise care plans as needed

• Support members in navigating the healthcare system for optimal outcomes

• Maintain accurate and updated records of patient interactions and medical decisions

• Issue and modify service authorizations based on clinical necessity

• Support internal teams with trends or anomalies identified in provider practices

• May be required to work from provider premises occasionally

Key Qualifications:

• UAE National (UAEN)

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, OR

• 1 year clinical + 1 year in medical authorization (insurance or TPA experience)

• Case management and/or claims handling experience is a plus

• Certification in medical coding is an added advantage
