SEGULA Technologies, a global engineering group, is seeking a Junior IT / Cybersecurity Engineer (Emiratization) to join their Rail & Transportation Infrastructure team in Dubai. The role involves providing L1/L2 IT support, monitoring networks and endpoints, assisting with security operations, and contributing to vulnerability management. This position is ideal for UAE Nationals looking to grow their IT and cybersecurity skills in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 IT support for Windows workstations, basic Linux, and O365 accounts.

• Assist with network basics, including switches/routers, VLANs, Wi-Fi, VPN, and user provisioning.

• Monitor security tools such as AV/EDR, email security, MDM, and SIEM dashboards; escalate alerts.

• Support vulnerability scanning, patch scheduling, and remediation tracking.

• Document SOPs, asset inventories, and configuration baselines.

• Participate in incident response triage, including evidence capture, ticketing, and follow-ups.

• Enforce IT policies, including passwords, MFA, and data handling; support awareness campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills:

• UAE National (UAEN) with Family Book or UAE Passport.

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• 0–2 years of experience in IT support or security operations (internships or entry-level accepted).

• Familiarity with Windows 10/11, basic Linux, EDR/AV, MDM/Intune, Azure AD/M365, MFA, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VPN, firewalls, SIEM basics, and incident handling.

• Certifications a plus: CompTIA Security+, Network+, CCNA, Microsoft AZ-900/SC-900, ITIL.

• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

• Proactive, service-oriented, and eager to learn.
