Job Title: Heavy & Light Truck Driver – Logistics & Delivery

Job Description:

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to operate both light and heavy trucks for efficient stock delivery. The ideal candidate will ensure timely, safe, and compliant transportation while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure 100% compliance with company policies and UAE road regulations.

• Safely operate company-owned light and heavy trucks (5 & 10 tons).

• Conduct pre-trip inspections and complete the Vehicle Checklist before loading.

• Assist in loading and unloading of goods.

• Follow delivery schedules to maintain 95% On-Time Delivery target.

• Perform basic truck maintenance and adhere to Cold Chain Transport procedures (including Euroscan temperature monitoring).

• Maintain truck hygiene and comply with food safety standards.

• Provide excellent service to clients, ensuring zero negative feedback on hygiene, professionalism, and customer interaction.

• Other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

Behavioral Competencies:

• Valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license (for 5 & 10-ton trucks).

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

• Physically fit (Height: 5’7″, Weight: 80kg).

• Trustworthy, disciplined, and customer-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Technical Competencies:

• Basic troubleshooting skills for truck maintenance.

• Strong knowledge of mathematics for load calculations.

• Familiarity with major roads across the UAE.

• Good eyesight and awareness for safe driving.
