Position Overview:

Petroruss DMCC, a prominent player in the global oil trading and maritime industry, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury & Banking Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day financial operations, banking transactions, cash flow monitoring, and payment execution. This role requires a proactive finance professional fluent in both Russian and English, with hands-on experience in international and multi-currency banking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of income and expenses, including contractor payments, partner contributions, and operational costs.

• Develop and manage financial spreadsheets for income/expense tracking, account balances, and cash flow.

• Prepare daily cash flow reports reflecting real-time financial status for senior management.

2. Payment Execution & Documentation:

• Prepare and execute local and international bank transfers, including FX and SWIFT payments.

• Draft and process all related documentation—payment orders, contracts, and applications.

• Archive payment confirmations and supporting records in compliance with internal controls.

3. Banking Operations & Communication:

• Open and maintain corporate bank accounts (RUB and foreign currencies).

• Monitor balances, manage statements, and handle all correspondence with banking partners.

• Liaise with banks for transactions, FX rate negotiation, and regulatory updates.

4. Audit & Reporting Support:

• Prepare comprehensive financial documentation for internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with auditors to provide financial breakdowns, clarifications, and reports.

5. Financial Document Management:

• Ensure secure storage of financial documents—contracts, invoices, reports, and confirmations.

• Grant access to financial data only to authorized personnel in line with company policy.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Higher education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Proven experience with:

  • Online banking systems (local & international)

  • Bank account management and foreign currency transfers

  • Corporate correspondence with banks

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, automation).

• Fluency in Russian and English (written and verbal).

• High attention to detail, discretion, and strong organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in international oil or commodity trading companies.

• Familiarity with 1C, SAP, Power BI, or other accounting/analytics tools.
