Job Title: Travel Reservations & Ticketing Agent

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Travel Reservations & Ticketing Agent to manage customer reservations, issue tickets, and provide exceptional service in the travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reservation Management:

    • Process and manage reservations for flights, hotels, and other travel-related services.

    • Provide accurate and timely information regarding available options, pricing, schedules, and accommodations.

    • Assist customers in choosing the best travel options based on their preferences and budget.

  • Ticket Issuance:

    • Issue tickets and confirmations promptly while ensuring accuracy.

    • Ensure compliance with relevant travel regulations and company policies.

    • Handle modifications, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards.

  • Customer Service:

    • Provide professional and friendly customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

    • Assist with booking changes, special requests, and other customer concerns to ensure satisfaction.

    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience.

  • Documentation and Record Keeping:

    • Maintain organized records of reservations, ticketing transactions, and customer interactions.

    • Ensure compliance with all necessary documentation requirements and company procedures.

  • Stay Informed:

    • Keep updated on industry trends, travel regulations, and company policies to provide accurate information.

    • Participate in ongoing training programs and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in travel and tourism is a plus).

  • Experience:

    • Previous experience in reservation and ticketing, preferably in the travel industry.

    • Familiarity with reservation systems and ticketing platforms.

  • Skills:

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficiency in relevant computer applications and reservation systems.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
