AtkinsRéalis, a global engineering and project management leader, is hiring a Transport Planner in Dubai. This full-time role is suited for professionals with strong experience in traffic engineering and transport planning. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to large-scale transport master plans, traffic impact assessments, and urban mobility strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to transport planning projects including traffic impact studies and citywide mobility plans.

• Conduct junction analyses and parking assessments using tools like SYNCHRO and SIDRA.

• Support multi-disciplinary planning initiatives for both public and private sector clients.

• Prepare technical reports covering existing conditions, trip generation, and transport studies.

• Ensure compliance with UAE transport standards and authority guidelines.

• Collaborate with engineering and modeling teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

• Assist in business development and promoting AtkinsRéalis’ transport services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master’s in Transport Planning preferred).

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering and transport planning.

• Familiarity with UAE transport planning practices and regulatory guidelines.

• Proficiency in traffic and transport software (e.g., SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, VISUM, VISSIM).

• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

• Prior experience in Middle East transport projects is an advantage.
