Securitas USA is seeking a Training & Development Manager to lead instructional programs for security personnel across Maryland and Pennsylvania. This role is crucial in elevating training standards, ensuring compliance, and delivering engaging, effective training through diverse formats. 📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate training programs for security officers, supervisors, and new hires

• Conduct First Day Orientation and Maryland Guard requirement training

• Collaborate with operations and management to assess training needs and close performance gaps

• Create training content, policies, multimedia tools, and program materials

• Track training effectiveness via performance metrics and reports

• Maintain documentation, schedules, spreadsheets, and compliance records

• Manage field instructors and support general office administration, including uniform logistics

✅ Requirements:

• Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of law enforcement, military, police, or security experience

  • Strong background in training delivery and instructional design

• Education (any of the following):

  • Bachelor’s + 1 year relevant experience

  • Associate’s + 3 years relevant experience

  • Equivalent combination of experience and education

• Skills & Tools:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, MS Teams)

  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal communication

  • Tech-savvy with adaptability to new learning technologies

  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles

• Legal Requirements:

  • Must be 18+ years old

  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

⏱ Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Occasional evenings or weekends based on training schedules or client needs
