DP World is looking for a Trainee in Information Security to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of an Information Security Management System (ISMS). This position involves assisting with risk management, compliance efforts, incident response, and security awareness programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that integrates with business processes.

• Coordinate with Information Security Champions to manage and secure information assets across the organization.

• Conduct risk assessments and align with senior management’s strategic goals.

• Develop and enhance operational security controls based on risk assessments.

• Review and update security policies, procedures, and standards in collaboration with business owners.

• Monitor compliance with security policies and report ISMS performance metrics to the Information Security Steering Committee (ISSC).

• Assist senior management with security responsibilities and provide guidance on risks and mitigations.

• Plan and execute security awareness programs and training sessions for employees, partners, and third parties.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations and stay updated on regulatory changes.

• Oversee the implementation and enforcement of security regulations within the organization.

• Lead incident response efforts, ensuring the timely detection, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, trends, and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A strong interest in information security, risk management, and compliance.

• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO/ISR, GDPR, and other regulatory standards.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams across the organization.
