Emirates Electrical Engineering LLC, a division of the Al Rostamani Group, is seeking a Trainee Engineer – Design (UAEN) to join its dynamic team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for a fresh graduate or entry-level engineer passionate about renewable energy and solar PV systems. The position offers hands-on experience in solar project design, estimation, and technical coordination, under the mentorship of experienced professionals.

As part of the Al Rostamani Group—established in 1957 and employing over 2,000 people from 41 nationalities—EEE is a specialized platform delivering turnkey electrical power and solar rooftop solutions across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in feasibility analysis of PV solar assets
• Support preliminary and detailed solar PV system designs
• Participate in simulations using PV-Syst, Helioscope, and Homer
• Contribute to solar lab reports and shading analysis
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and utility guidelines
• Collaborate with design and execution teams for knowledge transfer
• Understand region-specific regulations and contract models (PPA, EPC)
• Help prepare CAPEX/OPEX estimation sheets and project schedules
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on product pricing and availability
• Provide technical input during site surveys and project execution
• Attend project kick-off meetings and apply feedback to future designs
• Support inspection, installation, and testing phases as needed
• Propose design optimizations and contribute to innovation
• Attend supplier training and stay updated on industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

• Internship or academic project experience required
• Exposure to solar PV systems is a plus
