Job Description:

Charterhouse is partnering with a rapidly expanding Commodity Trading and Strategic Investments firm based in JLT, Dubai. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced Trading Operations Specialist to enhance efficiency and maintain high standards across the trade process.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Trade Operations: Oversee the full trade lifecycle for crude oil and petroleum products, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
• Documentation & Compliance: Manage cargo and finance documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, and letters of credit, while ensuring trade booking accuracy and reconciliation.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, receivers, and regulatory authorities, coordinating with traders and shipping teams for smooth trade execution.
• Risk & Process Optimization: Conduct risk assessments, improve operational procedures, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Reporting & Reconciliation: Monitor trade transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and provide detailed reports to support business decisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trade operations within crude oil, petroleum, or commodities trading.
• Strong expertise in trade documentation, financial instruments, and compliance regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Fluency in multiple languages is preferred due to engagement with stakeholders across Europe and Asia.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
