Job Title: Trade Finance & Treasury Manager
Job Description:
Epimon, a leading trading and distribution company in the global market, is seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance & Treasury Manager to join our Finance team. With a strong focus on the oil and gas industry, this role will be responsible for managing and optimizing trade finance and treasury operations, ensuring financial efficiency and compliance in the execution of oil and gas transactions. Key Responsibilities:
Trade Finance:

Manage and coordinate trade finance activities including Letters of Credit (LCs), guarantees, and other trade finance instruments for oil and gas transactions.

Collaborate with internal teams such as Procurement, Sales, and Legal to ensure timely execution and compliance with trade finance requirements.

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions for trade finance arrangements with financial institutions, banks, and insurance providers.

Conduct creditworthiness assessments, due diligence, and financial risk evaluations to minimize exposure and ensure compliance with trade finance regulations.

Monitor and analyze market trends in trade finance within the oil and gas industry to optimize financial operations.

Ensure all trade finance documentation, including LC applications, amendments, and contracts, are accurately prepared and reviewed.

Reconcile trade finance transactions and manage cash flows, providing accurate and timely financial reporting to the Finance team.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, banks, and financial institutions to facilitate efficient processes.

Contribute to the implementation and optimization of trade finance systems and technologies.
Treasury:

Oversee daily cash management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and capital expenditures.

Develop short- and long-term cash flow forecasts to support financial planning.

Manage fund flow statements and ensure proper management of fund movements.

Compare cash forecasts with actuals to ensure liquidity is available for operational use.

Maintain and develop relationships with local and international banks, addressing bank queries and ensuring compliance with treasury management systems.

Implement and enhance treasury management systems to improve efficiency and automation.
-
Prepare treasury reports for senior management and board presentations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

5+ years of experience in trade finance and treasury management within the oil and gas industry.

Deep expertise in managing trade finance instruments, including LCs, guarantees, and documentary collections.

Strong knowledge of international trade regulations such as UCP 600, URR-725, E-UCP, and ISP-98.

Proficiency in trade finance software and tools.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Professional certifications in trade finance, treasury, or related fields (e.g., CDCS, CITF) are desirable.

Knowledge of oil and gas industry dynamics and commercial practices.
Skills:
