Keolis.MHI is seeking a Track Team Leader for their Dubai Metro project. This full-time, permanent position involves leading a team of track technicians to ensure the effective engineering and maintenance services for the track and related infrastructure. The role includes depot workshop management, rolling stock maintenance, emergency response services, and ensuring the safety and reliability of the railway system. The ideal candidate will have experience in track maintenance, supervisory skills, and a strong technical background in railway infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of track technicians to provide maintenance services for the Dubai Metro.

• Manage depot workshop services, rolling stock maintenance, technical support, and first-line rapid response services.

• Oversee procurement of special parts and inventory management for the Dubai Metro.

• Ensure maintenance activities are carried out on rolling stock, passenger service vehicles, engineering support vehicles, and depot equipment.

• Provide training and support on maintenance procedures for depot equipment and rolling stock.

• Assist the Engineering and Maintenance Director in updating operations and maintenance procedures.

• Handle 24-hour on-call responsibilities for incidents and emergencies.

• Assist in strategic planning to minimize maintenance costs, maximize system availability, and ensure safety and reliability.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of track geometry, trackbed construction, geology, hydrogeology, drainage, and earthworks.

• Ability to manage track maintenance within tight schedules during engineering possession hours.

• Proficiency in using electronic test equipment and interpreting technical instructions.

• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Valid UAE driving license with good driving skills and experience.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified technician in track works maintenance (rail renewals, inspection, welding, and machine operations).

• Preferably 1 year of supervisory experience managing a team of track technicians.

• Experience with rail grinding machinery, welding tools, ultrasonic inspection equipment, and maintenance vehicles is a plus.

• Experience in shunting and driving maintenance vehicles/locomotives is an added advantage.

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

• Vocational trade certificate or diploma in civil engineering or equivalent.
