Etihad Rail Operating Companies is seeking a Track Maintenance Foreman to oversee and execute the railway track maintenance plan in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, on-site role involves leading a team of track maintenance personnel, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring safe and efficient rail infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate track maintenance tasks such as re-railing, re-sleepering, rail cutting/grinding, and turnout repairs

• Plan and evaluate the requirements for each maintenance activity

• Work closely with the Track Maintenance Supervisor and Infrastructure Planner to ensure timely project execution

• Perform duties as PS (Possession Supervisor), PIC (Person in Charge), and WS (Work Supervisor)

• Ensure strict adherence to safety standards for all employees and contractors

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: School Certificate or equivalent

• Professional Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of railway track maintenance practices

  • Understanding of track geometry

  • Valid full driving license

• Experience:

  • Prior experience in track maintenance or a similar industry

  • Experience in preparing technical reports

• Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal)

  • Strong planning, leadership, and team management abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment
