Job Summary:

Eathos is looking for an experienced Thai Chef skilled in traditional wok cooking to prepare authentic Thai dishes, manage kitchen operations, and maintain high standards of food quality and hygiene.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly prepare a variety of Thai dishes using wok cooking techniques.

  • Handle food preparation tasks like chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.

  • Follow recipe cards to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.

  • Control food wastage through effective portion management and communication.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked wok station.

  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards rigorously.

  • Manage prep time to ensure timely cooking during service.

  • Perform quality control by inspecting food before serving.

  • Assist with inventory monitoring and notify management of stock needs.

  • Follow morning setup and closing procedures to maintain kitchen readiness.

  • Take care of kitchen equipment and company assets.

  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

  • Accommodate special customer requests while maintaining dish integrity.

  • Continuously update culinary skills and stay informed on industry trends.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Wok Chef or relevant culinary expertise in Thai cuisine preferred.

  • Proficient in wok cooking methods: stir-frying, frying, and sautéing.

  • Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene best practices.

  • Strong time management skills in a fast-paced kitchen.

  • Flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on food presentation and quality.

  • A team player with a positive attitude.

  • Minimum educational qualification: High School Diploma preferred.
