This position is based at La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments, a contemporary property near Dubai Media City on Sheikh Zayed Road. Role Overview:
Minor Hotels is seeking a Telephone Operator to manage all internal and external communications for La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments. The role involves handling calls efficiently, providing accurate information, and ensuring guests experience seamless and courteous communication at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process all incoming and outgoing calls promptly and courteously.

• Manage internal hotel communications in line with brand standards.

• Record and deliver wake-up calls accurately to guests.

• Assist guests with international calls and directory inquiries, addressing them by name whenever possible.

• Accurately bill all guest call charges and maintain call logs.

• Handle guest requests efficiently and report any complaints or irregularities to the supervisor or duty manager.

• Maintain confidentiality and guest privacy at all times.

• Follow emergency communication procedures (e.g., fire, bomb threats).

• Keep the switchboard area neat and report equipment issues promptly.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of frequently dialed numbers and local listings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Secondary or high school diploma.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or telecommunications.

• Language Skills:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).

  • Additional languages and local dialects are a plus.
