Roles and Responsibilities:

Possess in-depth knowledge of the hotel, its departments, services, and the city of Dubai.

Maintain up-to-date information on operational hours, department extensions, and facilities.

Deliver a warm, friendly, and professional telephone service to all callers.

Handle all internal and external calls efficiently and courteously.

Stay fully informed about hotel activities to provide accurate information to guests.

Ensure timely and accurate wake-up calls, following Paramount Hotel standards.

Keep the VIP board updated with in-house guests and essential information.

Maintain an updated internal and employee telephone directory.

Record guest comments and relevant details in the shift logbook.

Stay knowledgeable about fire safety and emergency procedures.

Report emergency calls promptly to management.
Requirements:
Essential:
-
Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
-
1-2 years of experience in a switchboard or communication center role.
-
Proficiency in English and Arabic.
Desirable:
-
Clear, calm, and courteous communication skills.
-
Experience in a five-star hotel in the Middle East.

Understanding of Front Office operations.
-
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
-
Knowledge of an additional language (Russian, Chinese, French, Spanish, German).
