Altrad Babcock is seeking a skilled Technical Valve Tester for outage work at the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant. This full-time, on-site role involves testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining motor-operated and air-operated valves (MOV/AOV) to ensure optimal performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications. The position requires nuclear and outage experience, technical expertise in valve systems, and collaboration with Engineering and Operations Departments.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot corrective activities in accordance with manufacturer manuals (Rotork, Biffi, Dresser, Parcol, Velan, Emerson).

• Perform refurbishment activities for motor-operated and air-operated valves (MOV/AOV).

• Acquire and analyze diagnostic data using systems like Viper20/Vote Infinity.

• Issue and revise maintenance procedures for valves, electrical, and pneumatic actuators.

• Conduct calibration, maintenance, and diagnostic activities for valves with electric and pneumatic actuators.

• Provide interdepartmental support to Engineering and Operation Departments.

• Interpret maintenance procedures, drawings, and manufacturers’ specifications accurately.

• Operate personal computers and wireless equipment effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in valve troubleshooting, refurbishment, and testing.

• Strong knowledge of MOV/AOV systems and diagnostic procedures.

• Nuclear and outage experience is essential.

• Ability to follow technical manuals and maintain precise documentation.

• Proficiency with diagnostic systems and standard PC software.
