Job Summary:

The Technical Support – MEA – Himel position is responsible for supporting sales efforts across the Middle East and Africa by managing product specifications, public tenders, and providing technical expertise and training. The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between regional customers and the technical team in China, driving product certification, client education, and on-site support across a diverse geographical market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support to the regional sales team.

  • Convert customer requirements into Himel product specifications.

  • Coordinate product certifications with local and Chinese teams.

  • Compare Himel products against competitor brands for technical advantage.

  • Handle customer complaints and coordinate with the factory for solutions.

  • Conduct technical training, workshops, and seminars for customers and stakeholders.

  • Perform on-site inspections, testing, and troubleshooting.

  • Support key public tenders and manage the bidding process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).

  • 3–5 years’ experience in technical support or maintenance roles.

  • Solid knowledge of electrical components (MCB, MCCB, ACB, Contactors, Relays).

  • Ability to read and interpret single-line and wiring diagrams.

  • Regional experience in MEA markets, preferably with major electrical firms.

  • Experience working with panel builders, distributors, or in construction/design.

  • Strong network in the electrical market.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English; French is a plus.

  • Willing to travel frequently (approx. 30%).

Skills Required:

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • High adaptability in startup-like environments.

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD (2D/3D).

  • Ability to work independently under pressure.

  • Strategic thinking with strong execution.
