GAL is seeking a Technical Records Officer (UAEN) to join its aviation team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate technical and maintenance records, preparing detailed operational reports, and supporting aircraft operations to ensure compliance and efficiency. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and effective coordination across multiple departments to support ongoing maintenance and operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain maintenance records, logbooks, and technical documentation to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Prepare technical reports, including aircraft and engine utilization summaries, LLP status reports, and discrepancy analyses.

• Monitor fleet status, AOG/IOR cases, GCS, GSE, and maintenance material availability.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support aircraft transfers and resolve operational issues promptly.

• Assist in preparing deployment plans and ensure readiness of tools, materials, and staff for maintenance activities.

• Recommend and implement process improvements for documentation and maintenance systems.

• Support safety investigations and maintain up-to-date documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical/Aircraft Engineering or a related field.

• 5–10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably in Avionics or related aviation industry.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.

• Familiarity with aviation maintenance systems, technical documentation, and regulatory compliance standards.
