Aspen Heights British School is seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to support students and class teachers across the Early Years and Primary sections. This is a rewarding, full-time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi, perfect for individuals passionate about child development, classroom engagement, and a collaborative school environment.

The successful candidate will assist in classroom activities, supervise students, help with lesson preparations, and ensure a safe and supportive learning atmosphere in line with safeguarding policies.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in preparing class materials and lesson support.

• Lead or support group and individual learning sessions.

• Support with classroom technology, resources, displays, and tidiness.

• Accompany students on trips and support during transition times.

• Supervise students during recess, bus pickups, and drop-offs.

• Handle basic administrative and organizational tasks (e.g. laminating, photocopying).

• Maintain confidentiality, student safety, and well-being.

• Act as Bus Supervisor when needed: attendance checks, safety enforcement, emergency assistance.

• Promote respectful behavior and uphold the school’s values.

• Implement all health and safety procedures and participate in playground duties.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

• Minimum 2 years of school experience as a Teaching Assistant.
