Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team for the upcoming academic year, starting in August 2025.

About the School:
Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is a UK curriculum day school located in the prestigious residential area of Al Reem Island, near Sorbonne University. The school will ultimately accommodate 2,600 students from Early Years through to Year 13. Its first phase, opened in September 2023, includes Early Years facilities and sports amenities. The second phase, set to open in Summer 2024, will introduce the main Primary and Secondary classrooms.
Role Overview:
Teaching Assistants are vital in creating a positive, supportive, and dynamic learning environment. Under the guidance of a teacher, Teaching Assistants work with individual students, small groups, or whole classes to enhance daily learning experiences. They contribute to student progress monitoring and feedback, supporting personalized learning approaches.
Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering educational programs and lessons designed by the teacher.

Provide one-on-one or group support to reinforce learning objectives.

Help in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.

Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Monitor and document student progress and share feedback with the teaching staff.

Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.

Collaborate effectively with teachers, colleagues, and parents.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
-
Minimum of a high school diploma level education.
-
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar educational role.

Sound understanding of best teaching practices.
-
High level of written and spoken English fluency.
-
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with staff, students, and parents.

High level of international and intercultural awareness.
-
Familiarity with the British curriculum is advantageous.

Candidates already based in the UAE are preferred.
