Teacher – Primary (Female – Maternity Cover) – August 2025

Aldar Education, one of the UAE’s leading private education providers, is hiring a Primary Classroom Teacher (Female – Maternity Cover) for Al Ain British Academy, commencing August/September 2025. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for passionate educators experienced in delivering the English National Curriculum within an inclusive and progressive academic setting.

The successful candidate will join a high-performing team and contribute to delivering an outstanding learning experience tailored to the needs of diverse students. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a forward-thinking school with access to world-class training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.

  • Use assessment data to inform teaching strategies and improve student outcomes.

  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that fosters student engagement and achievement.

  • Identify and support students with SEN, EAL, and G&T needs.

  • Implement school policies for behaviour, assessment, and marking.

  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and prepare reports for parents.

  • Work collaboratively with specialists such as speech and language therapists or psychologists, when needed.

  • Attend parent meetings and participate in curriculum development.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of teaching experience in an English National Curriculum school.

  • Strong classroom management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices.

  • Passion for inclusive education and professional development.

  • Ability to manage pressure, multitask, and solve classroom challenges effectively.

  • Prior experience in international schools (preferred).

  • Candidates must align with the values of Aldar Education and the local cultural context.
