NLCS Dubai is seeking a Teacher of Spanish for a temporary 2-month maternity cover starting 5th January 2026. The role involves delivering high-quality Spanish lessons within the IB curriculum, contributing to the academic and personal development of students, and maintaining the ethos of NLCS (UK). This position is ideal for educators passionate about IB teaching, international school environments, and fostering student growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Spanish lessons following the IB curriculum (Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, or Diploma Programme).

• Support students’ academic progress, intellectual independence, and love for the subject.

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessments, and extra-curricular activities.

• Maintain high standards of classroom management and student welfare.

• Contribute to school events, projects, and activities in line with NLCS Dubai ethos.

• Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies.

Requirements:

• Qualified Spanish teacher with relevant teaching experience.

• Experience in IB or international school curriculum is highly desirable.

• Ability to deliver lessons that inspire curiosity and academic excellence.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
