Job Title: Tax Manager – GCC Compliance & Strategy

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee the tax compliance and strategic tax planning for our operations across UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. This role is critical in ensuring adherence to corporate tax, VAT, excise duties, and Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) regulations, as well as supporting transfer pricing policies and managing tax-related legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

  • Corporate Tax: Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns across GCC countries.

  • VAT Compliance: Oversee VAT submissions and ensure adherence to local regulations.

  • Excise Duties: Manage product registration and compliance for excise duties in UAE, Qatar, and Oman.

  • UBO Compliance: Ensure proper documentation and adherence to Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) regulations.

Transfer Pricing & Tax Strategy

  • Develop and implement transfer pricing policies aligned with global standards.

  • Prepare transfer pricing reports and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

  • Work with finance and legal teams to address audits and regulatory inquiries.

Legal & Financial Documentation

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to tax matters.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Finance Director, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Lead a culture of compliance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

  • Mentor and develop the finance team to strengthen tax expertise.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, ACCA, CPA preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in tax compliance & management, preferably in the GCC region.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, excise duties, and UBO regulations.

    • Experience in transfer pricing and financial documentation.

  • Leadership & Communication:

    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
