Job Summary

We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator (Local National) to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing suppliers, tracking deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring efficient procurement operations using ERP systems like SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Register, pre-qualify, evaluate, and manage vendors/suppliers

• Monitor and address delays in procurement, especially for critical items

• Manage inventory using min/max controls, audits, and ordering systems

• Utilize SAP and vendor portals for order tracking and inventory control

• Follow up on deliveries and ensure timely order fulfillment

• Contribute to cost-saving initiatives in material and service procurement

• Maintain accurate purchasing records in computer-based systems

• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors

• Support procurement analysis during vendor selection and performance reviews

• Negotiate purchase contracts and coordinate deliveries

• Track and report key supplier and departmental performance metrics

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience in the oil and gas industry

• Solid knowledge of procurement principles and supply chain practices

• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills

• Excellent time management and organizational abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle preferred)

• Power BI experience is a plus

• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
