Position: Structural Design Engineer (High Rise)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Employment Type: Full Time | Direct hire, permanent role
Salary: AED 18,000 – 25,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)

About the Role:

Our award-winning architectural design consultancy is seeking an experienced and talented Structural Design Engineer to join our Dubai-based team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and coordinating complex structural systems for landmark high-rise and vertical build projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop structural designs for steel and concrete structures following international and regional codes (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocodes, AISC).

• Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, models, and design documentation using software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla.

• Conduct in-depth structural analysis using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, or Robot.

• Collaborate closely with architectural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.

• Supervise, guide, and mentor junior designers and draftspersons to maintain quality and adherence to timelines.

• Provide technical support across design development, tender, and construction phases.

• Participate in design coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants.

• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, building regulations, and international standards.

• Assist in preparing BOQs, design reports, and calculations for project submissions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (MSc preferred).

• At least 5 years of postgraduate experience, focused on large-scale high-rise vertical projects.

• Minimum of 2 years in the UAE working on major high-rise projects with recognized PMC, design, or engineering consultancy firms.

• Proficiency in design and modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, STAAD, SAFE, etc.).

• Solid understanding of international codes and standards.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects independently.
