Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Structural & Civil Inspector to ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations on construction projects. This role involves daily coordination with project teams, verification of contractor work, and documentation of quality control measures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and experience in high-rise and mixed-use building projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Compliance: Ensure construction activities adhere to contract documents, specifications, and safety regulations.

Quality Assurance: Monitor and track quality control measures, verifying materials, workmanship, and construction methods.

Inspection & Reporting: Conduct site inspections, document contractor performance, and prepare detailed reports on project progress.

Supervision & Coordination: Work closely with Resident Engineers (RE) and Assistant Resident Engineers (ARE) to oversee site activities.

Health & Safety Monitoring: Identify and report safety violations, ensuring adherence to best practices in construction safety.

Technical Support: Provide guidance on structural elements, materials, and design requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inspections, manpower, equipment, and material deliveries.
Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma in Engineering (Structural/Civil) required; a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred for career progression.

Minimum 7+ years of experience in structural/civil inspections, with at least 5 years in the UAE.

Strong expertise in high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, and residential projects.

In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.

Excellent report writing and communication skills in English.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
