dnata is seeking a Strategy and Business Improvement Manager to join their team in Dubai. This role focuses on managing and developing long-term business improvement strategies by analyzing and enhancing both strategic and operational practices. The Manager will work across departments to improve business processes and drive efficiency, productivity, and growth in dnata’s Asia Pacific and Middle East & Africa regions.
dnata is one of the world’s largest providers of air and travel services, offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and catering services at over 130 airports in more than 34 countries.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Support the definition of regional strategies, identify target markets, and accelerate growth in high-margin services while seeking cost efficiency opportunities.

Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work with internal business units and external stakeholders to gain acceptance of process changes and improvements.

Business Improvement: Identify and recommend industry best practices to improve operational effectiveness. Apply business improvement tools and methodologies to enhance systems, processes, and structures.

Project Management: Lead business improvement projects from initiation to implementation, including business development and M&A projects supporting regional expansion.

M&A Support: Manage M&A initiatives, including identifying targets, due diligence, business case preparation, and post-acquisition integration.

Stakeholder Management: Advise senior management on process improvement opportunities and influence corporate departments to adopt strategies.

Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost containment, productivity enhancements, and operational efficiency across business areas.

Change Leadership: Support and lead change initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (Honours) or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Skills:
-
Advanced analytical and project management skills, including P&L leadership.

Strong knowledge of business improvement and process optimization.

Proficiency in office software suites.

Preferred Experience:
-
Experience in Aviation, Ground Handling, or Airport Operations.

Previous management consulting experience.

Familiarity with project management tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, or process mapping.
