Strategic Communications Manager
Emirates Nuclear Energy Company Abu Dhabi , UAE

Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) is seeking a Strategic Communications Manager to lead the development and execution of corporate communication strategies across all channels and departments. This full-time, on-site role is based in Abu Dhabi and is vital to strengthening the company’s reputation, managing media relations, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and supporting ENEC’s mission of delivering safe, clean, and sustainable nuclear energy to the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Communication Strategy:

  • Develop and oversee corporate communication strategies aligned with ENEC’s vision and objectives.

  • Build and manage annual communications, media, and digital plans across the enterprise.

  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership and support key enterprise projects.

  • Monitor industry and public trends, media coverage, and stakeholder perceptions.

  • Align internal communications and key messages across departments and subsidiaries.

Media Relations:

  • Oversee media engagement strategies including press releases, speeches, and interviews.

  • Build and maintain relationships with local, regional, and international media.

  • Monitor and respond to media coverage related to the company and the nuclear industry.

  • Lead education initiatives to inform media and stakeholders about nuclear energy.

Digital Communication & Website Management:

  • Create a digital communications strategy across web and social media platforms.

  • Manage the corporate website and ensure content is accurate, timely, and brand-aligned.

  • Guide ENEC’s social media messaging and calendar across platforms.

  • Lead rapid response efforts to manage reputation during public crises.

Corporate Activities & Crisis Communications:

  • Support executive positioning, leadership briefings, and event communications.

  • Lead crisis communications planning, response, and continuous handbook updates.

  • Coordinate public opinion polls and market research initiatives to inform strategy.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or Media Sciences.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in strategic or corporate communications.

  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, media relations, and content oversight.

  • Familiarity with the nuclear energy industry is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and leadership skills with excellent English communication.
