dLocal is looking for a Strategic Business Development Manager to join their growing sales team, focusing on expanding the merchant base in the UK and EMEA. This hybrid, full-time role involves building long-term partnerships, managing the sales cycle, and helping merchants solve their pain points in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand dLocal Merchants’ base in the UK and EMEA, focusing on cross-border e-commerce payment solutions

  • Build and manage long-term partnerships with merchants, acting as a trusted advisor

  • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to launching merchants

  • Engage in vertical segmentation prospecting through meetings, calls, events, and travel

  • Stay updated on market trends and represent dLocal at key industry conferences

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in payments or financial systems, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals

  • Experience in the UK market and enterprise sales for tier-zero companies

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an active listener

  • Ambitious, with a high level of curiosity and a positive attitude

  • Comfortable collaborating across global time zones
