Role Overview:
AQC FITOUT is seeking an experienced Store Keeper to join our team in Dubai. As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for managing inventory, handling logistics, ensuring proper storage of materials, and supporting the project team with timely and accurate materials delivery. This is a great opportunity for someone with expertise in inventory management within the construction, fit-out, or MEP contracting industries.
Key Responsibilities:

Incoming Material Inspection:
Check all incoming materials for possible damage, scratches, or discrepancies and keep management informed. -
Inventory Management:
Maintain an up-to-date inventory and stock records, ensuring proper storage and release of supplies as requested. -
Materials Handling & Documentation:
Ensure proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing transactions, maintaining accurate records of materials and equipment. -
Coordination & Requests:
Initiate materials requests in coordination with the project team, ensuring stock balances are aligned with project needs. -
Warehouse Organization:
Keep the store/warehouse and records area neat and orderly, ensuring efficient operations. -
Scrap Tracking:
Receive, store, tag, and track scrap items received from sites, ensuring proper handling. -
Storage & Damage Prevention:
Store materials in a manner that prevents damage or wastage, taking necessary precautions. -
Supplier Relations:
Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and smooth procurement processes. -
Logistics Management:
Oversee logistics operations for all projects, including vehicle dispatch, supplier follow-ups, and coordinating deliveries. -
Training:
Assist in training new storekeepers and supporting them as required by the management.
Candidate Requirements:

Industry Experience:
Experience in the construction, interior fit-out, or MEP contracting industries is essential. -
Skills & Expertise:
Strong inventory management and warehousing expertise, with proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, or warehouse management systems. -
Communication & Coordination:
Excellent coordination and communication skills (Arabic fluency preferred). -
Procurement & Material Flow:
Strong understanding of procurement, material flow, and delivery timelines. -
Logistics & Leadership:
Experience handling logistics and vehicle dispatch, as well as leading teams and managing training responsibilities. -
Attention to Detail:
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Salary:
-
AED 3,000 to 4,500 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances.
