Job Summary:
Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island is currently seeking a Steward to join its kitchen team. This role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in back-of-house areas and supporting overall kitchen operations. The successful candidate will operate dishwashing equipment, follow health and safety standards, and ensure the kitchen remains organized and hazard-free.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate pot-washing and dishwashing machinery to ensure hygienic kitchen standards.

Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and waste disposal.

Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and back-of-house areas as per the cleaning schedule.

Use proper PPE and adhere to hygiene and safety regulations, especially when handling hazardous substances.

Report maintenance or hazard issues promptly to supervisors.

Assist with any additional duties assigned by the hotel’s management.
Skills and Competencies:

Positive attitude and good communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently or within a team.

Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in kitchen operations.
Preferred Experience:

Previous experience as a kitchen porter or steward in a similar role is an advantage.
