As a Steward at Marriott International, you will provide essential kitchen support across multiple departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and employee dining. Your role will be vital in maintaining cleanliness, preparing kitchen areas, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring high standards for dining ware and linen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support various hotel functions through cleaning and basic kitchen preparation tasks.

  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines and hand wash stations.

  • Transport dishware across hotel areas efficiently and safely.

  • Maintain cleanliness of dining ware and kitchen linens.

  • Follow all company safety, security, and hygiene policies.

  • Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions promptly to management.

  • Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.

  • Foster positive teamwork and maintain strong communication with colleagues.

  • Perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and stooping as needed.

  • Assist supervisors with additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • No formal education or prior work experience required.

  • No supervisory or license/certification required.
