Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), one of the leading healthcare institutions in Abu Dhabi, is hiring Staff Nurses for the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) in Tower B4. This full-time, on-site role requires highly skilled and dedicated nurses to provide advanced cardiac critical care for patients with complex cardiac conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Patient Care & Assessment:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and cognitive evaluations.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to analyze patient conditions and determine diagnoses.
• Identify potential risks and barriers to patient health and safety.

✅ Treatment Planning & Implementation:

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and updated assessments.
• Administer medications and perform procedures following hospital protocols.
• Ensure proper documentation of all patient data and care interventions.

✅ Health Education & Promotion:

• Educate patients and families on cardiac care, medications, and recovery plans.
• Promote healthy lifestyle changes to prevent future complications.
• Use patient feedback to improve health education strategies.

✅ Team Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with doctors, specialists, and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in clinical rounds and report on changes in patient conditions.
• Provide handover reports for patient safety and continuity of care.

✅ Evidence-Based Practice & Leadership:

• Apply latest research findings to enhance patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior nurses, student nurses, and practical nurses.

Skills & Qualifications:

✔ Education & Licensing:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR
• Diploma in Nursing (2+ years program) with registration from recognized institutions (Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia).
• Valid Nursing License in home country.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.

✔ Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a cardiac intensive care or critical care setting.
  (Fresh graduates from UAE nursing colleges/universities can apply after internship completion.)
