CipherX Risk Management is seeking a highly skilled Splunk Professional to join our team in a hybrid, full-time capacity based in Dubai and Qatar. CipherX is a cybersecurity-focused firm offering tailored risk management solutions that help clients enhance resilience, protect assets, and ensure business continuity. We specialize in addressing evolving cybersecurity threats with innovative and proactive strategies.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Splunk deployments, creating customized dashboards, analyzing log data, and supporting our cybersecurity operations. You’ll work closely with a dynamic team of professionals and play a critical role in securing enterprise-level IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and optimize Splunk deployments across the organization.

• Develop custom Splunk applications, dashboards, and reports tailored to security monitoring needs.

• Analyze log and event data to identify anomalies and potential threats.

• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to respond to incidents and improve threat detection.

• Monitor and troubleshoot Splunk performance issues.

• Provide technical support and training on Splunk tools to internal teams.

• Stay updated on Splunk best practices and new features.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Splunk administration and optimization.

• Expertise in creating custom dashboards, reports, and applications using Splunk.

• Strong analytical skills for interpreting and visualizing log data.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Relevant certifications such as Splunk Certified Power User or Splunk Certified Admin are a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
